So needless to say, the idea may tend to actually get monotonous. No cozy romance, no soft breasts or lingering kisses as counterpoint to the butchering madness. The main theme of the film seems to be the senseless slaughter of battle after yet another battle. But the spectacle of gore and medieval battle engines has nearly no respite to balance them. The PG13 ratings are based upon these sequences. Of course, the results are some epic battle scenes that combine analog and digital revisions. They continue to form alliances against their common enemy. So the resolve of the middle earlthlings continues to be reconfirmed while the reality of the threat of their extermination also grows.

After the first part of the Trilogy, the troops of the mortal middle earthlings are victorious over a legion of the Orcs as they are marching to Rohan. So, as the Orcs, they have begun to march on the kingdoms of middle earth.īesides the arduous journey of the two Hobbits and the Golum that has been recruited as their guide over the mountains to Mordor, there are numerous military encounters. And needless to say, they also want the power of the ring as part of their cause. The two towers of Sauroman and Soran represent the possible union of the opposition and eventual conquest of middle earth. Right away, the creature wants to have the Ring. Though this may not be accurate as the actual written narrative, the film version introduces another character during this part, the Golum, an emaciated changeling. The second part of the Trilogy contiues the fantasy tale of Frodo returning the ring to the source as a way of nullifying the evil that could be caused. Notwithstanding that each of the three parts may also be considered individually. The idea of recognizing each part as a component should also be remembered.
