The studio had preannounced the date and launched this game on Apr 22, 2002. The game expands on the film’s plot, and adds a few missions not found in the film, such as escorting a SWAT team around the building or saving various hostages stranded on various floors of the building. The various action scenes from the film have also been recreated. The game’s levels are based on the sets from the film. Players take the role of John McClane, and try to stop the terrorist attack on the Nakatomi Plaza.

The game is a first-person shooter that follows the plot of the first Die Hard film. This PC game became popular because It is using the LithTech engine to offer a better gaming experience. This Action theme based PC game performs much better when you use a graphics card. I have several lithtech games running currently with no issues. You should trust hundreds of positive reviews the Die Hard: Nakatomi Plaza PC game has gained when you assess its potential. Other than the mouse problem and the fast videos the games runs fine. This game is a lithtech engine game if that is any help. I've disconnected the controller and racing wheel just in case but that didn't help. WSAD works fine and I can look using the arrow keys but that is impractical for playing a FPS. I can barely move it a tiny bit up but there is no sideways movement at all.

It works correctly in the menus but when I actually go in game the cursor is locked to the middle of the screen so I have no mouse look. Annoying but not that important since I been skipping them for years. All the patches are installed so the graphics look like they are supposed to with no funny artifacts.įirst of all the cut scene movies are very fast. I installed Die Hard Nakatomi Plaza this week and been trying to get it to work correctly to no affect.
